Jacob Ashley (Jake) is a naturally born entrepreneur and go-getter. He has had a long-time desire to become involved with real estate, especially for investment purposes. Jake first met with Dennis Ready (the father of Joe Ready) to learn more about income property and “flipping” houses – it was an interest and desire of his to get involved as soon as he could. After meeting with Dennis a few times, Dennis sadly became sick. While staying in-touch with Joe, Jake was given the opportunity to start his real estate venture. Jake has lived in Chelmsford his entire life. Having attended ABC Nursery School, Westland’s Elementary, McCarthy Middle, Chelmsford High School, and then not going far away to college at The University of Massachusetts Lowell, his knowledge of the Chelmsford area is strong and continues to grow. He recently graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell – Manning School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Dual Accounting & Finance Concentration, in 2017. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at The Manning School of Business, planning to graduate in May 2017; he is also studying for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation. Jake also serves as an Accounting & Finance Consultant for invisaWear Technologies LLC - a smart jewelry start-up based in Lowell, MA. He also had a successful tax internship with Deloitte Tax, LLP in Boston this past summer 2017 where he has accepted a job offer to begin in the summer/fall of 2018.
Currently, he is the Co-Founder & Co-President of the UMass Lowell Real Estate Network Association and Advisor to the Executive Board of the UMass Lowell Finance Society after serving as Co-President. He was just recently elected to the board of the UMass Lowell Young Alumni Council and is very excited to coordinate with UMass Lowell leadership. He also joined the Chancellor's Leadership Society, a society that strives to support the University at both a monetary and advisory capacity. Jake has continued to be a member of the UMass Lowell Accounting Society, UMass Lowell President's Council, and continues to be involved in the UMass Lowell Mentorship program. Additionally, he served as a Class Agent for the 2017 Senior Class Gift Giving Committee. Those close to Jake know he is a around-the-clock working, but when he does have free time, he likes to spend it with family and friends and stay up to date with the business world. Jake enjoys vacationing to many places including, but not limited to, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Florida, and Cape Cod; he plans to broaden his travels in years to come. He loves Massachusetts because he is able enjoy the change of seasons and their activities. It is without question that Jake’s young age will not hold him back from excelling in real estate and any of his other future endeavors. He has an itch to become part of the entrepreneurial world, but certainly wants to give the corporate lifestyle a try! He finds that his young age puts him at an advantage because of his willingness to work around the clock, no matter the day, to effectively satisfy and service his client’s needs and to ensure all operations of the transaction are in order. Jake is a Realtor who prides himself in both putting his clients first and being accessible while being continuously eager to grow as an individual. He is thrilled to be at Ready Real Estate and is excited to see what his future holds.
